W artykule przedstawiono rozwój zrównoważonego transportu, który stanowi obecnie jeden z priorytetów polityki transportowej Polski oraz Unii Europejskiej. Jednym z głównych czynników kształtujących współczesny system transportowy stanowi elektryfikacja sektora transportowego. Daje szansę na przekształcenie się miast w miasta zero, w których emisje, hałas, tłok i wypadki pozostaną na poziomie zerowym. W publikacji zaprezentowano udział taboru autobusowego o napędzie alternatywnym w polskiej komunikacji miejskiej, a następnie innych krajach Unii Europejskiej. Opisane także zostały autobusy Volvo 7900 electric jako przykład pojazdów w aglomeracjach przyszłości.

Segmentacja konsumentów na rynku olejów silnikowych do samochodów osobowych

Celem artykułu była identyfikacja segmentów konsumentów na rynku olejów silnikowych do samochodów osobowych.

Jak metodę zebrania danych empirycznych wykorzystano ankietę. Zgromadzone dane opracowano z wykorzystaniem wielowymiarowej techniki eksploracyjnej – analizy skupień.

Ze względu na zróżnicowanie lojalności motywacyjnej konsumentów, na badanym rynku identyfikowano 4 segmenty konsumentów, określane przez 8 predyktorów opisujących kryteria wyboru olejów. Zmienne charakteryzujące konsumenta, pojazd oraz sposób jego użytkowania nie weszły do modelu.

Implikacją praktyczną opracowania jest wykazanie, że największa frakcja (42% badanych) to konsumenci neutralni pod względem lojalności wobec marki, co daje duże pole do stosowania wobec nich narzędzi marketingowych zmierzających do zwiększenia lojalności.

Ocena zagrożeń i tendencje do niebezpiecznych zachowań w ruchu drogowym u kierowców w zależności od płci

Celem artykułu jest zreferowanie badań nad różnicami między kobietami i mężczyznami w ocenie niebezpieczeństwa określonych
sytuacji drogowych oraz częstotliwości przyznawania się do podejmowania zachowań niebezpiecznych w tych sytuacjach. Dodatkowo
uwzględniono wpływ cech osobowości na spostrzeganie i podejmowanie ryzyka drogowego.
Za pomocą „Testu Próbek Sytuacji Drogowych” oraz kwestionariuszy
Eysencka „EPQR(S)” „IVE” zbadano 100 osób (po 50 kobiet i mężczyzn), którzy uczestniczyli w profilaktycznych badaniach psychologicznych w związku z kierowaniem samochodem osobowym w pracy.
Wykazano, że kobiety były w większym stopniu, niż mężczyźni,
skłonne do przyznawania się do popełniania wykroczeń drogowych,
natomiast mężczyźni z kolei wykazywali się większym „uwrażliwieniem” na zagrożenia drogowe. Z badań wynika ponadto, że w konsultacjach psychologicznych kierowców powinno się uwzględniać
właściwości osobowości i temperamentu, gdyż mają one związek
z percepcją zagrożeń drogowych i stanowią uzupełnienie parametrów
psychofizjologicznych.

The main objective of the study is to show differences between women
and men in the assessment of the danger of specific traffic situations
and determine the frequency of admission to take dangerous behavior
in these situations.
Additionally, the influence of personality traits on perception was controlled for and undertaking road risk.
“Road Test Samples” and Eysenck’s “EPQR (S)” “IVE” questionnaires
were used by 100 people (50 women and men), who participated in preventive psychological tests in connection with driving a car at their work.
It has been shown that women were more likely than men to admit to
committing traffic offenses, while men in turn showed greater “sensitivity” to road hazards.
The research also shows that in psychological consultations for drivers
should have been explained some personality and temperament characteristics, because they are related to the perception of road hazards and
they are complementary to psychophysiological parameters.

W artykule omówiony został problem poprawnego procesu odgazowania i wentylacji zbiornika ładunkowego statku po operacjach ładunkowych w celu możliwości jego inspekcji. Właściwa ocena składu atmosfery jest warunkiem bezpiecznego wejścia i pracy załogi. Zasadniczo należy zmierzyć i dokonać oceny zagrożenia wybuchowego, obecności innych związków toksycznych dla człowieka oraz zawartości tlenu. W tym celu armator statku przygotowuje odpowiednie procedury przygotowania, zabezpieczenia wejścia do tych przestrzeni, w tym na ewentualność sytuacji awaryjnych. Oceny dokonuje osoba odpowiednio wykwalifikowana (uprawniona), której decyzje są kluczowe dla bezpieczeństwa przeprowadzanych operacji. Jednym z podstawowych problemów jest poprawna (właściwa) ocena zawartości tlenu po procesie pomiaru, który należy właściwie zinterpretować. Dotyczy to głównie sytuacji, w których pomiar zawartości tlenu wskazuje na wartość przekraczającą 22% lub obniżoną poniżej wartości 20,8% udziału objętościowego

The presented article describes hydrogen as an alternative fuel, which may be used in the future in aircraft transport. Selected properties of hydrogen were presented and discussed and compared to conventional aviation fuel used in turbine jet engines. The issue of emission of harmful substances to the atmosphere arising from the combustion of hydrocarbon fuels, has been presented. Methods of obtaining and hydrogen storage has been discussed.

In connection with the deteriorating condition of the environment, there is an increasing need to determine the impact of the life cycle of car tires on the environment - from processes related to the extraction of raw materials, their production, use, and post-use development. It is important to properly assess environmental impacts at each of these stages. This analysis is possible due to the use of various methods. The aim of the article is to present the LCA method for identifying the negative effects of car tires on the environment. It is caused by the fact that all stages of the material life cycle of tires generate pollution. The work deals with the problem of decreasing environmental resources, and thus limited possibilities of satisfying the needs of production processes. It is also discussed the need to increase awareness of the need for proper disposal of tires after the end of their use. In addition, the results of the ecological and energy life cycle analysis of the car tire were presented, which allowed the identification of areas with the greatest adverse impact on the environment and an indication to take actions to minimize negative impacts.

W artykule omówiono tematykę związaną z realizacją procesu transportowego dotyczącego dystrybucji gazu płynnego. Celem niniejszego artykułu w części opisowej było przedstawienie najważniejszych elementów związanych z transportowaniem, zabezpieczaniem, magazynowaniem i manipulacją towaru niebezpiecznego w postaci butli gazowych. W części badawczej przedstawiono analizę porównawczą środków transportu wykorzystywanych do dystrybucji butli na przykładzie rzeczywistego operatora gazu płynnego. Analizę wydajności środków transportu dystrybutora gazu płynnego przeprowadzono dla wykonanej trasy przewozowej czterech pojazdów rozwożących butle gazowe podczas tygodnia roboczego oraz pracy przewozowej rocznej. Analiza została wykonana w oparciu o harmonogramy rozjazdów floty, w których zebrano dane dotyczące ładowności, liczby kursów, liczby punktów odbiorczych oraz km trasy, które zsumowano dla zestawienia rocznego.

Wpływ organizacji transportu w przedsiębiorstwie na jego efektywność energetyczną

Energy efficiency has become the main goal of energy policy in the world. It conditioned policy towards energy-intensive sectors, such as road transport. However, improving energy efficiency may lead to changes in demand for energy services that would offset some of the energy savings achieved. Accordingly, energy saving forecasts may be overstated. The article analyzes the energy efficiency of road transport in a model service enterprise in Poland. A common methodology was used to estimate the energy demand function using the algorithm described in PN-EN 16247-4 Energy audits: Part 4 - Transport. The obtained results illustrate the average fuel efficiency at the level of 78%. The analysis of indicators shows that the analyzed years 2014÷2016 do not differ with respect to the operating speed and the time of operation of the vehicles. Compared to 2014, other years are marked by a decrease (around 15%) in vehicle speed. In 2016, the lowest equivalent fuel consumption was recorded compared to 2014 (7% difference) and 2015 (17% difference). The average annual decrease in fuel consumption of 8% in energy consumption in transport. It was also analyzed, by simulation, that in three years of fleet use reduction of the environmental impact may not be achieved after improving the efficiency.

For this purpose, a series of measurements was made at two ambient temperatures (at 25°C and -15°C), using different pumping pressures.

The article presents CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis of the Ferrari 348 sports car intake system for three variants of air intake speed to the system. The article contains an analysis of the distribution of velocities and static pressures. In addition, local velocity and flow in the filtration chamber were investigated. The influence of air velocity at inlet to the intake system on the above-mentioned parameters was determined. The analysis is a prelude to the study of wave phenomena occurring in the intake system, affecting the fill factor of the cylinders. Ansys Fluent software was used for analysis.

The subject of the study is dynamic analysis of a simply supported beam loaded with a moving inertial load. The paper discusses a beam modeled with one degree of freedom and a Bernoulli-Euler beam model with uniformly distributed mass. In both cases, the beam is loaded with a particle or oscillator moving at a variable speed. The equations of motion of the oscillator and the beam were derived by the analytical method. Due to the nature of the load, the Renaudot material derivative appears in the equations of motion of the analyzed systems. In addition, free vibrations of beams after rolling off the load were discussed.

A description of the results of experimental studies and assessment of the risks associated with the operation of rail vehicles on the road and tram crossing located in Silesia is also presented. The article presents the analysis of the impact of the compressor flow simulation parameters through the Venturi tube on the accuracy of the obtained results. The Ansys 2019 R2 program was used for analysis. The analysis was carried out on the basis of the pattern for which the results of flow calculations according to standards PN-EN ISO 5167-4: 2005. The influence of the gas model and turbulence model was considered. The entire measurement system, including impulse lines, was subject to simulation.

Artykuł poświęcony jest obliczeniom impulsowych prądów wysokiej częstotliwości, przepływających przez uziemienia urządzeń wysokiego napięcia podczas przełączeń oraz zwarć. Znajomość wartości tych prądów jest niezbędna do oceny kompatybilności elektromagnetycznej w elektrowniach i podstacjach, pod kątem zakłóceń podczas przełączania i zwarć. W artykule przeanalizowano obowiązujące standardy, wyniki pomiarów oraz obliczeń prądów impulsowych wysokiej częstotliwości w urządzeniach o napięciu znamionowym od 6 kV do 35 kV, które to nie są ujęte w w/w standardach. Zależności prądów impulsowych wysokiej częstotliwości, rozchodzących się przez uziemienia podczas przełączania i zwarć w urządzeniach wysokiego napięcia, określa się w zależności od specyficznej rezystancji elektrycznej ziemi i konstrukcji tych urządzeń.
W artykule podano zalecenia dotyczące włączenia prądów impulsowych wysokiej częstotliwości do standardu „Wytyczne dotyczące projektowania urządzeń uziemiających sieci 10-20 kV z rezystancyjnie uziemionym punktem neutralnym” organizacji „Zjednoczona spółka energetyczna” S.A. (Moskwa).

The article discusses the problem of assessing the pressure on the brake pedal by a diagnostician during a brake system efficiency test. These types of tests are carried out as part of mandatory periodical technical tests of motor vehicles. A group of diagnosticians was tested using the car prepared for testing in terms of their ability to generate and control a specific pressure on the brake pedal. The obtained results will allow determining the impact of experience, age or training of a diagnostician on its value.

In the paper basic theoretical models of transmission loss calculation are described. Four different methods of homogenisation used for building of the simplified panel model are describeb. Simplified model is the single homogeneous isotropic plate panel. For this panel three impedance values of one rigid and two flexible body models of panel are described and analysed. As flexible models the thin plate (Kirchhoff-Love plate model) i thick (Mindlin – Reissner model) are analysed. All results are compared to results of 3D FEM model.

Paper discusses the problem of automatic flight control during selected aerobatic maneuvers. The exact process of control systems synthesis is discussed in works [13, 20, 21]. The nature of the maneuvers and the range of changes in flight parameters during their performance limit the possibility of using classic autopilot systems, as well as the possibility of obtaining accurate information about the exact aircraft’s spatial orientation. Article presents an alternative approach to the design of automatic aircraft control systems that can be applied in the discussed cases. The mentioned maneuvers were presented from the flight mechanics point of view. As well work shows the structure of control algorithms and the method of verifying their operation in simulation tests.

The paper presents the possibilities of using the popular programming environment to develop applied applications that support teaching process of programming and operating modern industrial robots. First of all, the basic issues of the use of robots, methods of robot programming and tools used in this area were characterized. Moreover, the possibilities of using the Visual Studio environment to support the didactic process of industrial robot programming teaching were discussed. In addition, the paper presents the author’s computer application and an example of its use.

The paper describes the results of research on the emission of limited exhaust components from a single-cylinder, research engine of the AVL series 5402 powered by mixtures of rapeseed oil and diethyl ether. Rapeseed oil was used in the research, to which 10, 20, 30 and 40% by volume of diethyl ether was added. The physicochemical properties of the prepared fuel mixtures and their impact on the emission of limited exhaust components, in particular particulates, nitrogen oxides and unburned hydrocarbons, were evaluated. It was found that the addition of DEE to rapeseed oil helps to reduce the emission of harmful exhaust components to the environment, in particular soot particles and unburned hydrocarbons. Diethyl ether added to rapeseed oil has no significant effect on changing the emission of nitrogen oxides. The indicated problem is a barrier typical of the fuel combustion process and is slightly dependent on its type. With this in mind, it should be noted that reducing NOx emissions to the environment requires a change in fuel combustion towards the implementation of the so-called low temperature process. In conventional combustion systems, the reduction of NOx emissions will still require the use of additional treatment systems such as SCR, i.e. selective catalytic reduction.

The subject of the study is a Kirchhoff thin plate subjected to moving inertial load. The plate is loaded with a particle or viscoelastic oscillator moving at a variable speed. In the article the equations of motion of the considered systems in analytical form are presented and analysed. Two cases of equations of motion are considered. In the first case, the load is on the plate - forced vibrations, while in the second case the load is outside the plate - free vibrations. Due to the nature of the load, the Renaudot material derivative appears in the equations of motion of the analysed systems.

Optimization of neural networks structure selection in modelling spheroidal graphite cast iron for automotive camshafts

The present article discusses the process of optimizing the structure of artificial neural networks applied in modelling the wear of spheroidal graphite cast iron (SG cast iron). The networks were trained using the RPROP gradient method with the application of the SNNS package supported by original self-developed software, which enabled automatic creation, training and testing of networks with different sizes of hidden layers. Based on the results of an analysis of learning process and testing a package of 625 networks, the network was selected which – when modelling the process of spheroidal cast iron wear – generates the slightest errors during testing.

The article discusses issues regarding the nature and types
of digital technology platforms, as well as areas of their use in logistics. In this case, they characterized selected from a platform, showing the features and advantages that may be generated by it. In some issues reference was made to the results of own research. The article proved that digital technology platforms are widely used in logistics, including but not limited to activities related to traffic control or optimization of logistics processes. At the same time, they generate numerous benefits, including reduction of costs and increase of profits as well as increasing the level of competitiveness, resulting, for example, from the reduction of so-called empty runs or increased efficiency in the implementation of transport and storage processes.

Przeprowadzono optymalizację magazynu wyrobów gotowych oraz magazynu zewnętrznego, po której zaprezentowano całkowity koszt inwestycji. Zaproponowano także zakup nowych wózków jezdniowych za gotówkę, pomijając leasing. Optymalizacja miała na celu zmniejszenie kosztów funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa.

Application of AIS data for qualitative and quantitative analysis of ship traffic flows

The article presents the idea of method of processing AIS data into information useful for qualitative and quantitative analysis of ship traffic flows. In the introduction the manner of exchanging and storing data in AIS was generally characterised. An original programme for creating maps of ship traffic intensity and tabular ship profiles was de-scribed in the main part. The last part presents analysis of ship traffic flows in the Gdańsk Bay in the year 2017, conducted with the use of the original software.

The article provides information on the best car showrooms in Poland in 2015-2018 in terms of the number of new cars sold excluding the facilities belonging to the car manufacturers. Moreover, showrooms that excelled in the highest quality customer service, best work organizational workflow and the greatest availability of test drive cars were listed. The article also presents information on the sales of new passenger cars in Poland in the last few years and specifies brands and models that were the most popular among Polish. Business and individual customers preferences were also assessed in terms of buying a new passenger car, i.e. bestselling brands and models of cars in the showrooms were presented. Information about most popular models of new passenger cars among the Europeans and in the world was also presented for comparison.

The article in a brief form touch the issue of validation and revalidation of the certificate permitting ERRV to carry out rescue tasks and ensure the safety of persons working in the offshore sector, in particular drilling rigs and other installations. Presents the specific tasks and duties of ERRV and the standards that should be met by the crew of these particular vessels. Compliance with certain standards is closely related to the level of crew training and skills of using the equipment on board. It also presents the connections between hydro - meteorological conditions on scene during validation / revalidation exam and results of it.
